POP twins Jedward fear they could be targeted again after party-goers jumped on their car after a panto.
John and Edward Grimes were left shaken after a group leapt onto their people carrier as it left the Olympia Theatre last Saturday night.
However, the 22-year-old twins have denied claims they blasted those involved in the incident as “drunk chavs” and know that the incident was meant in a light-hearted manner.
“John and Edward don’t even know what ‘chavs’ means. It’s not in their vocabulary,” a source said.
“The people who jumped on their car, did not mean them any harm and were in good spirits.
“It’s a worry now if these people take offence and target Jedward’s car again.”
The former X Factor stars are appearing in panto Beauty and The Beast at The Olympia this year.
However, sources say it could be the brothers last panto in Dublin they are considering an offer to star in a UK production for Christmas 2015/2016.
