It might be 5 years since they were on the X Factor but Jedward still pull in the crowds when they appear in their native Ireland ahead of a special gig later this month.
The boys weren’t rocking their signature massive quiffs as they posed outside the RTE studios in Dublin yesterday. Instead, both John and Edward looked rather handsome with their smoothed down hair and matching grey outfits.
Perhaps their slicked down hair is thanks to their smoothie regime, with the boys (we’re not sure which one) tweeted: “Currently Right Now Making a Smoothie! How do you think I’m this smooth now you know! smooooooth!”
Jeward are preparing for one-off gig at the Olympia in Dublin on the 20th April. Of course it’s not just musical success that the Irish exports now enjoy. In January it was announced that the 22-year-olds would have their CBBC show Jedward’s Big Adventure renewed for a third series after it proved so popular.
Maybe a film will be next on their agenda after they were spotted on the red carpet for new flick Noah. Jedward looked particularly dapper as they donned dark navy suits and bow ties for the event.
